Storage FAQ's

Click on one of the questions below to view the answers.

When can I move in?
As soon as you sign the lease!
How much notice needs to be given before I move out?
All contracts are month to month. However, we do require a two week written notice before you move out.
What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
You will need a driver’s license or other government issued photo ID, and proof of insurance on the items being stored unless you plan to participate in our simple and inexpensive tenant insurance program. If you are storing a vehicle or trailer in one of our outdoor spaces, you will also need to provide proof of ownership of the vehicle, such as the title. We will make copies of these items for our records and hand them right back to you!
Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
No, all of our leases are month-to-month, though we do offer discounts on prepayments of 6 or 12 months!
Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?
Once you have selected your security code at the time of signing your lease, you can access your unit during normal gate hours. Some facilities offer 24 hour gate access, but most are 6am to 11pm, 7 days per week.
How do I make a payment?
You can pay in person, by phone or online, or mail a check or money order. You may also sign up to have payments automatically deducted from your credit card or debit card monthly.
What forms of payments do you accept?
Cash, Checks, Money Orders, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
How do I know how much storage space I will need?
You can either use our Storage Calculator on our website or call our manager for assistance.
Do I need to bring my own lock?
We provide a new disc lock at no charge with every unit rental, and it’s yours to keep when you move out! We also offer disc locks for purchase should you need another for any reason!
Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
Animals, perishables, explosives, noxious, highly flammable, toxic or other dangerous materials, alcohol, drugs, hazardous waste and any illegal substances are NOT permitted. Insurance policies may also have limitations on what they will not cover in storage. Please see your specific policy for details.
Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?
Most of our facilities do offer hand trucks and dollies for your convenience, and most units are also drive-up accessible.
